Yup. Another exciting week full of events that will make 1 long post.
Econs test comes first. This event which happened on Tuesday caused much trauma an hysterical cries. After battling against time, i finally managed to finish my econs essay. but to my horror, I found that Rong Bing's essay were 5 pages long while mine is only 3 pages long. I just can't imagine how he can write so fast. Even if I move my hand at the speed of light, I dun think I can write so much. This is simple because I don't really have much things to write. Fortunately for me though, Mr. Ong said that those who never write CETERIS PARIBUS will DEFINITELY FAIL!!! Lucky for me, I managed to remember these 2 important words in the last 5 mins and I wrote it 3 times and wrote a whole paragraph on the limitations of ceteris paribus. Hope that I can wriggle my way through again and don't have to attend econs remedial.

Inter-house Pictionary is the next event on the list. The rules for inter-house Pictionary is relatively different from the normal game that we play. Each house is given 3 mins. They have to roll a dice to see how many squares they can move and draw the picture according to the colour of the square that they land on which si read off from a card.Surprisingly, my team comprising of Lingzhang, Yu Jun, Hu Ching, Xian Jie, Mel Ho and I managed to own the prelim round. Even though we did not move a single square in the 3rd round, we were still first for our group which consists of 5 teams (1 from each house). I really pity Ronald Chan's group. Their first word for one of the rounds was "make" and Ronald spent 3 mins trying to draw "make" was it was quite futile.
Finals was exciting but I was rather a BW pwnage since they have 2 teams in the finals and they sent their Art Club members to go and participate in this event. However, I must still congratulate my team on beating the MR team by 2 points.

3rd on the list is the mock chem SPA. I must profess that I completely screw this one up. First, I didn't read 1 of the instructions, which says "add 10cm^3 of dilute nitric acid into the solution before titration against FA3)." And I didn't add it, which caused me to have a slight difference in the result as compared to other people (will cost me around 6 marks for accuracy). Next, I didn't see the concentration of X as if was written right at the end of the paper where they give the Ar of different elements. In the end, I didn't even have enough time to finish calculating the stuffs. And the worst thing is that I overshot the end-point as I thought the slight colour change of yellow to orange was just a trick of the light. Hence, I added a extra drop of FA3 (which is actually potassium manganate) to make the solution turn pink. I could see the examiner write somethingon the checklist which suspicously resembles a cross.

And........... (drum roll), the highlight of this week is none other than NAPFA! The sheer pronounciation of this word causes some to tremble on the ground while leave others dancing around in joy. NAPFA is indeed a time to show off for some people who can run sub-10mins for 2.4km and do 20+ pull-ups while being a torture for those people like me. But I must say that I am rather proud of myself as I ran 12.54min for 2.4km which is my personal best so far. RJ PE lessons really helps for my 2.4km as at the start of the year, my 2.4km was 14min+. However, after getting AABBD for 5 stations, I ended my dream of a bronze or even silver. It is the PULL-UPS. After struggling for 10 secs on the pull-up bar, I decided to give up. I was destined for me to fail. But the worst thing that can happen is to fail in front of the girls. Lol. They came to watch u since they finished their 5 stations already. A rather embarrasing sight but luckily, I am rather thick-skinned like and elephant (or rhino, hippo whichever one u prefer). Hence, I was still able to play soccer after that.
