While those MT and MR superheros went to watch Spiderman III, we the evil villains represented by HH (venom), BB (green goblin) and BW (sand man) went to find our own forms of entertainment on Labour Day. For my class, our form of entertainment was to go Darren's house and wreak havoc (typical evil villains' way of doing things).
After reaching Bishan at 1, the bunch of us consisting of Darren, Rong Bing, Gabriel, Ari, Zhang Ying, Lufei, Tianbo, Tang Liang, Qingyu, Yuemei and I took 55 from the interchange and reached Darren's house in around 20 mins. To my surprise, Darren lives relatively close to Shailesh, only around 2 bus stops away. The first thing we did when we reach Darren's house was to do what all evil villains do, gobble up all the food that we see. Even Rong Bing who had 2 meals with 3 hours managed to eat a slice of pizza, a plate of bee hoon and various fried food. Halfway through our feast, Qihui, Vivien and Miss Ong arrived and helped us to finish up everything. Sadly, Miss Ong had to leave within 30mins for her frisbee training.
After bloating ourselves, we did another thing that all evil villains like to do. Yes, you guessed it. That is to gamble. Once the pack of cards and the mahjong set is on the table, one can easily see the inner nature of a gambler within every member of 08S06M. People fought for places on the mahjong table while others formed conspiracies while playing asshole taitee. The whole place turned into a wet market with people shouting stuff like "My cards rox!! This round sure king liao!", "OMG! Revolution!" and "Wait. I want to 'peng'". For those who don't know what is 'peng', it is a special word used in mahjong and it is better that you don't know what it means so as to prevent you from turning into a gambler like me.
After hours of gambling, we finally decided to play some more civilised games. Name another thing that evil villains like to do. That is to kill people. Hence, we started playing the game of 'murderer'. Basically, each of us are given a card and if the card is a king, the person is a murderer. The murderer will wink at the poor victim and the victim will be instantly killed (represented by opening his card). There is also a chance that the person's card is ace, which means that the person is a detective who must find the murderers. Detectives can't be killed and are given 2 chances to find the right murderer. Of course, there is a 3rd job of being the healer, represented by a Queen card. That person can heal anyone back to life except murderers by simply sticking out their tongue at the person. I must say that this is a game of intense concentration because there is danger all around you and one wrong move will cause your death. Ok lar, even if you don't move you will still die.
The day ended brilliantly when Rong Bing, Gabriel and I took cab home from Darren's house and RB managed to extort 5 bucks from each of us. Lol.
