7/7/07. Definitely a day worth remembering. Saw many people wearing green today. Wonder if they are all environmentalists or just coincidence. Was scolded by Chester for not wearing green when he was wearing a conspicuously bright green Buckley shirt. Went for the first band practice in dunno how many month. Played this song titled "American Salute-When Johnny comes marching home". I must admit that the title is quite corny (and who on Earth is Johnny?) But the song sounds quite nice, especially when there is a long tuba melody. Then, we got completely owned by "Extreme Make-over" which is by Tchaikovsky. Got lost after 50+ bars cos I had a 132 bars break at the start. Fell asleep halfway and it was mainly Mr. Oura singing the melody when the real melody was either lost, or non-existent in the first place.
After reading Ling Zhang's blog, I am horrified to know that my image to Zhangs is a perverted freak. Lol. This shows that one should not watch shows like 'Borat' because the only thing it does is to pollute your mind (then what is Rong Bing now? He has Borat in his handphone and that is to say, having a portable Borat around). But I must clarify that I am not that kind of person who is sick in the mind and neither did I have images of Rong Bing in action.
Anyway, I shall promote Live Earth here too. We should all do our part in helping to conserve the environment. We must remember that when we pollute the environment, we are killing ourselves too. Envisage one day when there is no more trees, animals other than human being on the Earth. It will be a very sad day indeed.
But I will end this post on a happier note. Got good results for chem and maths CT, but english was a bit disappointing (a D). Will work harder!!!
