I am rather disappointed with myself.
Promo is in 10 days time and I am still unable to force myself to revise for it. Maybe my motivational system is spoilt.
Although I always say that "can get promoted to JC2 can already. Get straight As for what?" I still want good result for promos. It will probably be a bargaining chip for me to buy a new computer.
I remember during one day during the September holidays, I asked Lingzhang whether he finished all his tutorials. He look at me weirdly and said "Of course!" When I told him that I havent do P&C tutorial and oscillations, he was astonished. At that time, he already did 20+ maths revision questions while I havent even bothered to touch them.
Also, I see multitudes of people mugging crazily in school under the module acronymed PIMP (Promo Intensive Mugging Programme). Of course, this is not counting in the industrious girls in my class who finished all the chem revision worksheets. For example, Lingxi refused to walk to RI to eat lunch because she thinks the time taken to walk to RI can be better used for mugging purposes.
Somehow for me, I just cant resist the temptation to play Dota when I am alone at home. The computer seem to be as what Adam Smith calls "an invisble hand" grabbing me and seducing me into starting the program "Warcraft III". The end result is simply a whole day wasted. I forsee that my study break will turn into a Dota break since my mother is in Australia.
To end off, quoting from Yiheng "A minute wasted a mark lost". Following this quote, I guess I have already failed promos.
